AI Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 10/8/2026
1. Summary
These terms cover the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Large Language Models (LLMs), and autonomous AI agents together with Bijective software.
Bijective provides software. The Client runs it in its own environment. The behavior, strategy, and outputs of any AI model or agent that the Client connects or builds remain the sole risk and responsibility of the Client.
2. How the Software Is Designed
The software includes safeguards that operate independently of any connected AI logic. They are design properties of the software as delivered, and they depend on the Client configuring and running it correctly:
• Orders pass through risk checks and the limits the Client has configured before they can reach an exchange.
• Agents run in an isolated environment with no credentials and no direct network route to an exchange.
• A safe state can halt trading when limits are breached or conditions cannot be measured.
• Orders, refusals, and stops are written to an ordered record.
These safeguards reduce risk. They do not remove it, and they are not a guarantee against loss.
3. Who Is Responsible for What
3.1 What Bijective provides
Bijective develops and maintains the software, ships updates and fixes, documents the AI and MCP/API integration components, and supports the Client in using them, in accordance with the applicable commercial agreement.
3.2 What stays with the Client
• Model behavior: losses arising from an AI model hallucinating data, misinterpreting markets, or producing flawed parameters.
• Modifications: any change the Client makes to the source code, prompts, weights, or context.
• Environment and configuration: hosting, infrastructure, risk limits, credentials, exchange accounts, and compliance.
• Decisions: what an agent is permitted to do and which strategies go live.
4. Disclaimers
By using the source code, platform, or AI integration components, including through MCP or API frameworks, the Client acknowledges and agrees to the following.
4.1 As-Is
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the source code, platform, framework, documentation, AI and MCP integration components, and all related software and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.
Bijective disclaims all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
4.2 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Bijective, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, including losses arising from AI model behavior, hallucinated outputs, execution errors, or autonomous agent actions, arising out of or in connection with the use of, or inability to use, the source code, platform, or AI integration components, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these AI Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
5. Before Going Live
Before deploying an autonomous AI agent in production, the Client is strongly advised to:
• test the agent in paper trading and with small limits first;
• set conservative position, loss, and order-rate limits;
• keep exchange credentials out of the agent's reach;
• review the agent's proposals and logs regularly;
• keep a way to halt trading manually;
• re-test after every change to prompts, models, or code.
