Commercial License
PolyForm Shield License 1.0.0 · Last updated: 8/16/2026
License Applied to Bijective Purchases
When you purchase Bijective software, you receive the PolyForm Shield License 1.0.0 — a widely recognized commercial license drafted by the Polyform Project and used by software companies worldwide.
Our platform is distributed under a Source-Available model, governed by the PolyForm Shield License 1.0.0. Every customer receives full, unrestricted access to the complete source code of our system.
We publish this code not to solicit free contributions, but so that your internal engineering team and independent auditors can dissect, test, and audit every line of system logic comprehensively — before a single dollar of your capital is committed to live markets.
1. The Promise
Under this license you may use the software for any lawful purpose, modify it, build new works on top of it, and distribute copies — subject only to the single limitation described below.
2. Client Freedom Pillars
- Use. Run the software for any purpose, internal or commercial, without restriction.
- Modify. Change, adapt, and improve the source code to fit your operations.
- Extend. Create new works and derivatives built on the software.
- Distribute. Share copies of the software with others, provided recipients receive these same license terms.
- Patent protection. A patent license covering claims the licensor can license, protecting your use of the software.
3. The Shield — the Only Limitation
The license permits any purpose except one: you may not use the software to provide a product that competes with the software, or with any product Bijective provides using the software.
This is the sole restriction. It protects the commercial model that funds continued development — nothing more.
If you market a product as a practical substitute for Bijective's software, it competes. Products compete even when offered free of charge or across different platforms and interfaces.
4. Fair Use and Existing Rights
The license does not limit your fair-use rights under applicable law, and it does not take away any rights you already hold.
If you are notified of a violation, you have 32 days to come into full compliance and take practical corrective steps before any license termination takes effect.
5. Warranty and Liability
As far as the law allows, the software is provided "as is", without any warranty or condition.
The licensor is not liable for damages arising out of these terms or the use of the software, under any kind of legal claim.
